English Literacy Services Manager
This position will work with students across Alaska,
including Anchorage and Matanuska-Susitna Borough.
Coordinate with the Test Prep Services Manager to oversee student services including testing, registration, and general student support, emphasizing job training, post-secondary education, and job placement. Supervise student services staff, maintain accurate data for grant reporting, and work with team members to develop programs that meet student needs.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Knowledgeable about the principles of Adult Education and English language acquisition
- High proficiency in English
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Enjoys working with persons with differing lifestyles and cultural backgrounds

Adult Education Instructor - Mathematics and Science
This position is based in Matanuska-Susitna Borough.
Provide high-quality instruction to Adult learners including teaching classes,
providing one-on-one student support, and student intake and registration.
- Bachelor's Degree and at least one year of teaching experience
- Proficient with computers and willing to learn new programs.
- A strong desire to work in a fast-paced social service agency serving a very diverse population.
-Comfortable working independently and as a member of a team.
- Works well in a people-intensive environment.
- Knowledge and acceptance of persons with diverse cultural, ethnic, and social backgrounds.
- Multi-Lingual preferred.

Test Prep Services Manager
This position will be split between Matanuska-Susitna Borough & Anchorage. Travel required.
Coordinate with English Literacy Services Manager to oversee student services
including testing, registration and general student support with a focus on job
training, post-secondary education, and job placement. Provide supervision to
student services personnel. Ensure accurate data is maintained to meet grant
reporting requirements. Coordinate with staff to plan services and programs that
address student needs.
